About the Roman Forum

The Roman Forum, also known as Forum Romanum, is one of the most important and known sights in the entire city of Rome, as well as all over the world. It is a rectangular plaza, that in Latin is called Forum, surrounded by the ruins of many different important buildings from the age of the Ancient Roman Empire. Directions from the Roman Forum

From Roman Forum to the Termini Station To get from the Roman Forum to Termini Station, head northwest on Via dei Fori Imperiali. Follow the road until you reach the Piazza Venezia and continue straight onto Via del Corso. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Piazza del Popolo. Once in the square, take the left exit onto Via di Ripetta. Follow it for about 300 meters until you reach Piazza Augusto Imperatore and take the second exit onto Via Tomacelli. Continue straight for approximately 800 meters until you reach Piazza di Spagna. At the Piazza di Spagna, take the third exit onto Via dei Condotti. Walk for another 800 meters until you reach Termini Station.

From the Roman Forum to the Tiburtina Station To get from the Roman Forum to the Tiburtina Station, start by heading northwest along Via dei Fori Imperiali. Along this iconic road, you'll encounter various ruins and witness the grandeur of ancient Rome. After about a 15-minute walk, turn left onto Via dei Serpenti and continue for another 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore. From there, turn right onto Via Cavour and proceed for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the Termini Station. Finally, take the metro from Termini Station and board the B line towards Rebibbia. After a short journey of about 10 minutes, you'll arrive at the Tiburtina Station.

From the Roman Forum to the Colosseum To navigate your way from the Roman Forum to the Colosseum, start by heading southeast from the Forum. Follow Via dei Fori Imperiali, a wide avenue flanked by ancient ruins and majestic statues. After a short stroll, you will reach Piazza del Colosseo, where the iconic Colosseum stands tall.
