We had a hard time finding the location and the instructions were not clear that it was inside the currency exchange shop. The employee also didn't know what Radical Storage was at first but was very helpful in figuring it out. After we cleared everything up it was easy and the space was nice and secure.

About Ueno Park in Tokyo, Japan

Ueno Park (上野公園, "Ueno Onshi Kōen" which means "Ueno Imperial Gift Park") is a large public park next to Ueno Station in central Tokyo. It is known for its deep roots in Japanese culture and diverse attractions. Originally founded in 1873 on the grounds that once belonged to the temple of Kan'ei-ji, this park has evolved into a central destination for both locals and tourists.

Today, Ueno Park is famous for the many museums found on its grounds, especially the Tokyo National Museum, the National Museum for Western Art, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and the National Science Museum. It is also home to Ueno Zoo, Japan's first zoological garden. There's also a Ueno Park public concert hall offering thrilling performances for those seeking entertainment.

Ueno Park sakura and cherry blossoms serve as a significant attraction each spring. With over 1000 cherry trees lining its central pathway, the park becomes a lively hotspot for the traditional Ueno "hanami" or flower viewing festivities from late March to early April. It is simple to get to Ueno from any major train station in central Tokyo. In most circumstances, all you have to do is jump on the Yamanote Line in whichever direction is closest to you and you'll be there in no time.

Tokyo Ueno Park has free entry, but its facilities, including museums, have modest admission fees (typically around ¥600). Most museums and other facilities open at 9:00 or 9:30 and close between 16:00 and 17:30 and are closed on Mondays. Ueno Park opening hours are from 5:00 to 23:00. It's advisable to visit early to avoid afternoon crowds. In the vicinity, there's a variety of street food and Ueno restaurants to explore. So, if you want to check out a place brimming with cultural sites, marvelous art exhibitions, natural wonders, and delicious food and drinks, Ueno Park is the place for you.
