Fiumicino to Rome (and back) by Train

Another solution to reach Fiumicino in the early morning is by train! From Termini Station, there are many trains (regional and direct) ready to bring you to Leonardo da Vinci Airport!

Fiumicino Airport is connected to Rome through the regional line FL1 Fiumicino Airport – Fara Sabina/Orte.

Although more expensive, this option will let you reach the Airport from several districts of the city of Rome (and not only from the main stations), so you will sleep more!

This service is offered by Trenitalia and boasts 126 trains that leave every 15 minutes from the Station. You’ll find Leonardo Express on platforms 23 and 24 of Rome Termini Station. It takes you directly inside the Airport (in 30 minutes or 32 minutes). On these trains from Fiumicino to Rome (and back), you can also reserve seats. Buy your ticket online or at the ticket machines.

From Rome Termini to the Airport – first departure 05:20 / last departure 22:35. From Fiumicino Airport to Rome Termini – first departure 06:08 / last departure 23:23.
