SonarDay vs SonarNight: What’s the Difference?
Sónar runs in two distinct formats across the same venue. SonarDay is the afternoon programme, typically running from around 12:00 to 22:00, featuring live acts, installations, and the Sónar+D innovation conference — making it suitable for a wider audience. SonarNight is the nocturnal rave, running from approximately 22:00 until 06:00, when the major DJ headliners take over the main stages. The SonarPass covers both; if you’re coming purely for the big names, a Day or Weekend ticket focused on the nights may suffice.
