Located on Mason Street in the Nol Hill neighborhood, the San Francisco Cable Car Museum is a must-see attraction with artifacts dating back to the 1800s. It was inaugurated in 1974 and since then the museum has been run by a non-profit educational organization called The Friends of the Cable Car Museum.
