    Lucerne is a fairy city

Lucerne, a small city known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, stands on the shores of Lake Lucerne and it’s nestled among the Alps. If you are there for the first time, you feel like you have entered a fairy tale place, such as the ones you saw in the storybooks when you were a child. The city will intrigue you with its colorful streets, the sloping roofs, and shops of all kinds. Did you know that the best chocolates in the world are sold here? If you have a sweet tooth, you can’t miss their exceptional taste!

    Visit the Chapel Bridge

If you are spending a holiday in this corner of Switzerland, don't forget to visit the Chapel Bridge (in German: Kapellbrücke) located in the heart of the city, on the river Reuss. It was built in 1333 but destroyed by a fire in 1993. After the tragedy, however, it was rebuilt and is now still one of the most popular attractions! 30 of the 158 original paintings destroyed during the terrible fire have been restored and are now visible to the public!
