They're ever so kind! There isn't a separate luggage storage area, but if you pop into Zaca Shop and tell the owner you've come to leave your bags, they'll store them for you! If you're visiting Gaffa Bridge to browse the pottery, leave your bags here.

The place in Santo Cristo, Rio de Janeiro, is located in a hotel. As soon as we arrived, we spoke to the reception and they already knew about it. It was quick and easy. To pick it up too.

The hotel is not actually in the city centre, but the fact that it is opposite Ancona train station (and also opposite the bus stop for the centre) makes its location extremely convenient for those arriving in or leaving the city by public transport. It is open 24 hours a day, and the staff are very kind and helpful (my husband and I were even able to have a coffee at the hotel bar while picking up our bags at the end of the day). The entire service was efficient (both the booking via the app and the baggage drop-off and pick-up process), and the storage area is very secure, located inside the hotel and locked with a key. Highly recommended!

O hotel de fato não fica no centro da cidade, mas o fato de estar em frente à estação de trem de Ancona (e também em frente à parada de ônibus para o centro) torna a localização extremamente conveniente para quem está saindo ou chegando à cidade com transporte público. O funcionamento é 24h, e os funcionários são muito gentis e prestativos (eu e meu marido pudemos até tomar um café no bar do hotel ao pegar as malas no fim do dia). Todo o serviço foi eficiente (tanto a reserva pelo app quanto o processo de entrega e retirada das bagagens), além do local de depósito ser bastante seguro, dentro do hotel, trancado com chave. Super recomendado!

You enter, scan the QR code, take a photo of your suitcase and the numbers given by the staff, and that's it. When you collect your suitcase, you show the photo, scan the code, and you're done. They could put up a slightly clearer sign because it's easy to miss them.

Very easy. Booked the storage about an hour before we dropped it off. Surprised we weren’t asked for ID/ email/confirmation of any sort when we picked it up, especially as it was a different man from the one who we dropped it off with, but ours appeared to be the only luggage there so guess he assumed we were legit. Would definitely use again though.

First of all: it’s a little grocery store, not what you would usually expect from a Luggage Storage. But the owners were really friendly (since we could speak spanish with them - i don‘t know how it would work with english) even though there seemed to be an issue with the app/Website Sending them a confirmation of our reservation.

Quick and easy bag storage. We booked and paid on the app, then got a message with a link to Google Maps to find the shop, a short walk from the station, and a QR code, which we showed when we dropped the bag. We were given a paper tag to hand in when we collected it. Friendly service.
