The National Museum of Korea in Seoul is located in the Yongsang Family Park, which is just 4 km from the famous Namdaemun Market. The museum is segregated into three floors, each with a unique exhibit of the ancient Korean dynasties, art galleries, and painting rooms.
The National Museum of Korea opening hours are 10 am to pm on Saturday & Wednesday, and 10 am to 6 pm on the remaining days of the week. You can get to the museum by taking Line 4 or 6 from the Seoul Central Station and exiting at Ichon station, which is just a couple minutes away on foot.

Prehistoric Relics
Begin your tour of the National Museum of Korea with the Prehistoric and Ancient History Gallery, located on the first floor. This gallery has over 4000 historic exhibits from the Neolithic, Paleolithic, and Bronze Ages that take you hundreds of years back.
Donated Artwork Galleries
On the second floor of the Seoul National Museum, you will find yourself admiring the fine brushwork of over 800 pieces of donated artwork. The major contributions to the Donation Gallery were made by Korean artists and painting collectors.
Sculpture and Craft Rooms
Home to approximately 650 astonishing sculptures of Korean Buddhists, the Sculpture and Crafts Gallery on the third floor makes you appreciate the skills of Korean artists. There is a wide collection of bronze statues and hand-carved sculptures that deserve a sight.
Special Exhibitions
If you are lucky, you can get to the museum in time for a special exhibition that takes place from time to time. You don't have to pay anything for the National Museum of Korea entrance fee because admission is free for everyone, but there’s a ticket for each exhibition.
