Nürtingen, is located a few dozen kilometres south of Stuttgart in southern Germany and lies on the eastern bank of the Neckar river. Leave your luggage in our luggage room and enjoy a nice day out in this small but picturesque German town.
The town is very limited in size and can be walked around in a few minutes, yet it hides a good number of picturesque views created by narrow alleys with classic half-timbered houses, some more important and monumental historical buildings and finally some remnants of medieval fortifications such as the Blockturm with its bastion. One of the most scenic spots is Marktstraße, an old market place where the Rathaus and an old college also stand, and at the end of which you can reach the bell tower of the city's most important church, the Gothic St. Laurentius.
